With over 50 years of combined teaching experience, Elizabeth, Olly and Paul bring a shared belief that creativity, curiosity, critical thinking and play are essential to a child’s development.

At Oasis Learning, the arts, play and philosophical inquiry are central to our approach. We know that children are natural thinkers — they ask big questions, explore bold ideas, and express themselves in unique ways. Our practice is grounded in self-directed, interest-based learning that nurtures a lifelong love of discovery — not a reliance on rigid instruction.

Paul
Paul believes drama is a powerful tool for emotional expression and personal growth. It fosters empathy, confidence, and connection, helping children understand themselves and others in meaningful and transformative ways.​​
Olly
Olly is passionate about sparking critical thinking in children and watching their ideas evolve through philosophical inquiry. He believes philosophy offers a creative and respectful space to explore big ideas and connect with timeless questions.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a creative soul who finds joy in expressing herself through the arts. She believes that they have the power to enrich learning and encourage children to express their understanding of the world.
At the heart of it all is this simple belief: every child has the right to learn at their own pace.
